On October 21, the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee held a symposium in Beijing to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the launch of the China Society for Promotion of the Guangcai Program. Wang Yang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of CPPCC, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
