The event will last for more than a month, from September 11th to the Double Ninth Festival on October 18th. During this period, a condolence team consisting of leaders from the Group, representatives from the foundation, and robotics companies will visit nine centenarians from Donggang Town, Wuxi City, to deliver respectful condolence materials and extend sincere blessings and warm greetings to them.

It is reported that the Wuxi Yaoting Charity Foundation was established with a personal donation of 20 million yuan by Zhou Yaoting, the president of the Hongdou Group's shareholders' meeting, and his son, Zhou Haijiang, the chairman of the board. Since its operation in 2015, the foundation has been committed to carrying out activities to care for centenarians for more than a decade, becoming a vivid practice of Hongdou's implementation of the "win-win in all directions" concept, giving back to the hometown, and inheriting the culture of respecting the elderly and filial piety.

That morning, the condolence team, carrying gifts such as the Hongdou AI fall-prevention suit specially developed for elderly safety protection, new warm clothes for autumn and winter, and a four-piece home textile set, visited the first two centenarians, Tao Jindi and Zhou Shulan, in Miaoqiao of Gangdong Village and Lijiatang of Shanlian Village in Donggang Town respectively. Coincidentally, not only were the two elderly women both 100 years old, but they were also sisters-in-law, with Zhou Shulan's husband being Tao Jindi's elder brother.

At the scene, representatives from the foundation and the robot company, along with relatives, helped Grandma Tao try on the fall protection suit, carefully adjusting the hem and the internal buckle, and explaining the key points of use to the family members. "This is not an ordinary vest jacket," said Zhang Yan, General Manager of Wuxi Fuxin Robot Co., Ltd. The staff conducted a live anti-fall demonstration in the courtyard. After watching it, Xu Guoqing said with relief, "A few years ago, my mother fell and hurt her knee, requiring dozens of stitches. Although she recovered, her body is not as flexible as before. She could still go out on her own when she was 95, but now she has some difficulty walking. With this clothes, we, as her children, feel much more at ease."

The simple observation aptly pinpoints the common concern of millions of elderly families. Statistics show that approximately 40 million elderly people in China experience at least one fall each year. After bidding farewell to Grandma Tao, the condolence team drove to the home of Zhou Shulan, an elderly lady, and presented her with gifts for the elderly. Like many long-lived elders, Grandma Zhou is gentle in temperament and open-minded; she eats simply and lightly, and is not picky about food or has a small appetite; her family is harmonious, with children and grandchildren around her. Her children and grandchildren have bought air conditioners, televisions, induction cookers, and surveillance cameras for her home. The younger generation often visits, ensuring that the elderly's later years are well-arranged and thoughtfully taken care of.

According to family members' recollections, a few years ago, when Zhou Shulan went out to throw away the garbage, she had a minor fall and found it difficult to get up after sitting on the ground. After the villagers discovered her, they helped her home, and since then, she has rarely gone out. After learning about the protective performance of the fall-prevention suit, the family members once again expressed their gratitude: "The elderly are prone to falls, especially when they are alone at home.
